Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) Analyst – Remote (US, UK, Costa Rica or Europe)

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute advanced AMC SQL queries to build custom audiences, measure campaign effectiveness, and help optimize marketing strategies across Amazon Ads platforms.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets within AMC to generate actionable marketing insights.
  • Leverage knowledge of Amazon Ads channels, metrics, attribution models, and AMC audiences, including first-party data uploads and AMC’s hierarchical structures (instances, entities, permissions, migrations).
  • Deliver in-depth performance analyses combining AMC data with other internal and external sources (e.g., retail data, category benchmarks).
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients in a clear, impactful manner — with a storytelling approach that engages non-technical audiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest features in AMC, including generative AI capabilities for SQL automation and audience segmentation.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-have:
  • Demonstrated expertise with Amazon platforms (min 2 years working with Amazon Ads), especially Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).
  • Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and audience creation.
  • Understanding of AMC hierarchies and structures (instances, entities, permissions, migrations).
  • Experience analyzing marketing or e-commerce data to drive business decisions.
  • Client-facing experience, including storytelling and presentation skills (PowerPoint).
Nice-to-have:
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools within AMC for automated query generation.
  • Experience with Amazon DSP and, Sponsored Ads, or other Amazon advertising solutions.
  • Background in digital marketing analytics or e-commerce.
